Emily Mock is an artist, educator, and community organizer. She is interested in how place and identity frame each other, as well as access to cultural and political knowledge. Originally from San Francisco and currently living in New York City, she is the Chinatown Tenants Union Membership Organizer at CAAAV: Organizing Asian Communities. She created community arts education and public programming as the Center for Neighborhood Leadership Community Organizing Apprentice at The Laundromat Project. She has facilitated in English and Mandarin with all ages in schools, parks, museums, and organizing spaces. Emily is a member of the Chinatown Art Brigade. She holds a BA from Smith College in Art History and Political Science.
